Weekend gone in a flash

They say time flies when you're having fun, well we had LOTS of fun this weekend...

The Lewis clan arrived on Friday afternoon - even Daddy got home early(!) and we had a nice tea at home and a good nights rest before Saturday began.

On Saturday we went for a drive up to Richmond Park and had a picnic, followed by a walk, a loooooong walk, but it was well worth it for the beautiful countryside and views over London. Joe, Andy and Daddy were playing football or Frisbee as they went...

Next up, and the subject of our first photo today, are a couple of examples of the local wildlife which we were very impressed to stumble across (thanks to eagle-eyed Daddy).

After our close encounter with the locals we headed off up the hill until we got to the top and saw the panoramic views over London from King Henry's Mound.

Photo no. 2 is me and Uncle Andy enjoying one of these views, looking out towards Windsor...

After we'd taken in the views, we turned tail and headed for home, but not before Daddy got a photo of the Lewis's and a shot or two of Joe climbing a tree. Let's see if the computer will let us load up a no. 3 and 4...

Goodnight & sweet dreams,

Samantha

PS - Belated, but BIG CONGRATULATIONS Andy & Sara on their big day yesterday - sorry we couldn't be there, but we all hope it went well and everyone enjoyed themselves including Alice!!!

Thursday excitement: in two parts

So this morning when Julia came 'round, she also brought Monty and their toy doggie, so we had a very enjoyable morning playing with all the toys!

And I'm also excited because tomorrow, we have visitors coming to stay in the shape of Uncle Andy, Aunty Sarah and cousins Katie and Joe who are coming all the way from Lincolnshire until Sunday!!

Not sure what our plans are yet, but I'm sure it'll be fantastic!

So that's it for now - no photos (yet) tonight, but maybe Dad will try a little later...

Nighty night,

Samantha x

Currently residing in the land of nod

But that shouldn't stop Dad following my instructions to the letter... I know you want photos and you want lots, so... in the words of the great Perry Farrell, here we go....

Me enjoying my favourite tipple with Dad last week - check out those crows feet (him not me)

The aftermath of a good bottle of milk or some lunch

And... that's it for tonight we had at least 2 more to come, including a trip to Aunty Tina's yesterday but "computer (or connection) says no"... : (

Helicopter fun

Just as I was going for my morning nap, a Police helicopter appeared overhead making A LOT of noise *sighs*. Good job we have double glazing...

Had a long walk with Mum & Dad yesterday, hoping to visit Aunty Tina but she was out and about running errands for her sister, so we grabbed a sandwich in a nearby cafe and turned tail for home (exciting eh?!). Maybe we'll see her today, but I know Dad has some new pins for my brand new swing so we could be playing on that for a while!

Me, getting into macaroni cheese the other day...

Like buses

Wait a while for an update, then several come along at once...

Another "quickie",but I was the bravest of the brave today when Daddy and Mummy BOTH went out to work... and I stayed home with Julia (and Nuala and Monty later on). Ok, I admit I was a little upset at first and I know it will take some getting used to, but I think I did reeeeally well and know Mummy & Daddy would both agree.

We had a trip to the Bunny park where I had a play on the swings and a good little nap whilst out and about...

So - now for part II tomorrow - wish me luck!!

Love,

Samantha
