Hi all,

The end of another lovely weekend, we've had great weather for the last couple of days so yesterday we went to Hanwell Broadway shops for a while followed by a trip to Elthorne Park for a go on the swings and things...nice.

Sunday and we went to Ealing Broadway for a few hours and came back via Walpole Park to see the rides and the ducks in the pond.

Here's a couple of recent snapshots for your enjoyment... the second one features a new toy from todays shopping trip, giving us the title of todays blog (taken from an album by The Cure)...

Lazy days

Getting lazy in my old age... sorry for lack of postage, it's not even like I've even been that busy, but there's always something going on. Quiet weekend at home, full recovery (just about) now, but went to the park with Dad on Saturday morning and again with Mum today!

Got a special party for my friend Maisie tomorrow who turned 2 today - HAPPY BIRTHDAY Maisie!!

My vocabulary is improving daily, here's a selection of my latest words and phrases, apologies if I've already written some of these in a previous blog...

18 months old today...

Now THAT's something to shout about!

We were meant to be in Liverpool this weekend but as you may have heard, I've not been too well of late, been on the Amoxycillin since Monday and although I've had my rough moments (puking several times Wednesday but only once on Thursday) and I've still got a rattly chest, I'm well on the road to recovery now. But the olds didn't feel I'd enjoy the 5-hour journey up north by car and to be honest, they were probably right... so maybe we'll get up in May...

During my recovery, I've even had a couple of proper lie-ins - on Friday and today only waking up after 8am... lucky 'old' me, Mum and Dad! I hope they appreciate it.
