New post on my new-look blog

Do you like it?

So - what did I do this week? Well, loads, but I don't think Daddy's got time to write about it all right now, so - highlights only. On Friday Daddy and I had a nice bonding session when Mummy had a well deserved night out. I think Dad was wary I'd become a Mummy's girl but I wasn't too tough on him, honest. It was only come bedtime I got a bit snarky...

Earlier that day, Dad came home from work early and we went to Elthorne Park, which was full of big lorries and half built fairground rides in preparation for Saturdays Hanwell Carnival (which we didn't go to!) but although we couldn't go on any rides on the Friday, we still have a good run around and I went on the usual slides, swings and see-saw etc...

On Saturday we popped into Ealing Broadway for a bit and stayed there about 5 hours! Lots of shoes were bought (2 pairs each for me and Dad) and we nipped into another park on the way home for a quick kick about.

Today we went to Toys 'Я' Us and I managed to coerce the olds into spending a ton of cash on yours truly coming home with a dress-up Upsy Daisy, Mr Potato Head and a box of Lego bricks (with 'man' and 'dog') and more! Lucky (spoilt) me.

Nighty night,

Not well : (

Evening all,

Sorry for no updates lately, but I've been sick.

We had a lovely weekend, it was the second May bank holiday, starting with a pretty quiet Saturday (it rained a bit) but on Sunday I had a double-whammy of a visit to Snakes & Ladders in the morning followed by a trip to the sand park with Maisie and Michele in the afternoon so lots of fresh air and running around for all!

But later that same day, I was off my food and a little quieter than usual, with a high temperature - just in time for bed. Then on Monday, despite an ok morning, I just wasn't feeling (or acting) myself at all from around lunchtime - very high temperature, red face and arms, lethargic and not at all talkative and after an hour long afternoon nap on Daddy but when I woke up, I wasn't feeling at all refreshed (like usual) but was still very sleepy and it looked like I was going to nod off again on Mummy. Not a good sign. So around tea time, Mum & Dad took my temperature which was 39.1 celsius (102.28f)... and called the local medical centre. Being a bank holiday there was a recorded message with an emergency number to contact, which they duly called and after providing some details, they were called back and given an urgent booking at the walk-in centre at Ealing hospital. Eeek.

So we walked straight 'round there (about 15 mins away) and we were seen pretty quickly for (a very unhappy) me to hear that I had tonsilitis. Ouch. lots of white spots at the back of my throat and no wonder I was feeling so bad...

Anyway - it's now Wednesday evening and I'm not exactly fighting fit but I've been a tad better today. Still really low energy levels and sleepy but my appetite has returned a little and I have ate a bit bette today, but this being half-term week, Mum & Dad don't want to leave me with Julia as she has Monty and Nuala so are doing at home parenting for the week (Daddy's turn tomorrow...).

Think that's enough detail for now. Will get Dad to add some photos from the weekend in a day or two. But for now - zzzzzzzzz.
