Funday

Hi all,

This week we spent four nights in Liverpool so we could do a few chores at Grandad Ozzie's (amongst other things) but the night before we went we had the excitement / annoyance of a power cut at home! The whole block of houses was in the dark as Daddy came home from work and power only came on intermittently through the night and wasn't working from about 6am until after 11.30 on Wednesday morning.

Eventually we could pack up and hit the road and made good time to the 'pool.

On Thursday whilst Dad was doing a spot of painting, Mum and I went to see Aunty Julie in Coronation Park (after feeding the ducks). Friday we went to Tesco's with Grandad to pick up a few supplies for Saturday which was the busiest day by far!

On Saturday morning we went to Linda and Lee's to see my old mate Adam (he's 3 soon, but has a new brother or sister arriving before then!). After that we went to cousin Kate's 5th Birthday Party in Birkdale where I took over the big slide before sitting down for some snacks! Straight after that we headed for Grandad Ozz's for an evening soiree with Uncle Ian and Aunty Sarah and were joined later by Granny Jean... phew, was I tired after all THAT! (yes)

Here's me on MY slide ; )

More photos to follow shortly...

Love,

This week / a first!

Hi all,

I've had a bit of a cold this week. Still sniffling and sneezing a bit and my appetite's not 100% again yet, but I'm loads better than I was. The best bit is, Mum and Dad got it worse than I did! (sorry folks)

The "first" is - I had my first "proper" haircut this weekend!!

Mummy went to get a cut & colour in Head Masters, King St. Hammersmith and Daddy and I followed on (on the bus) a little later - I'm told I was a good girl and sat very still for the lady who cut my hair.

Today was Monty's fifth birthday party so we went to show off my new haircut and to run around for a couple of hours kicking and popping balloons (well I popped only one but still...).

This evening I was also listening to some sounds on Dad's iPod, namely "Morning Mr Magpie" from Radiohead's new album which was nice, followed by "Just Like You Imagined" by Nine Inch Nails - watch a cool live version here.

The end result...

Anticipation of impending balloon 'explosion';

Here we go!
