Hello everyone,
Well - I did it, I had my fourth birthday last Thursday and it was brilliant. I got so many cards (21) and presents. Everyone was so generous - so thank you.
In the morning, I was a little slow getting up and out of bed, but once I did, I had my breakfast and was allowed to open my main presents from Mum and Dad which were a new pram (for Baby Annabel) and an Octonauts, Gup-X! Wow!
Then I went to school and everyone sang Happy Birthday to me and at lunchtime we set off in the car for Liverpool where we were staying at Granny Jean's house for three nights. Once we got there we unpacked the car and Granny Jean gave me even MORE presents and we had a little sing-song ("Happy Birthday" again) and I stayed up until way after 9pm!
On Friday we went to New Brighton for a pub lunch with Grandad Ozz, followed by a trip to 'the front' where the tide was in and we could see the waves on the Mersey crashing against the shore (it made me laugh!). Once we'd moved the car along the coast a little, we went into an arcade to play on a few games / rides and I won an official Disney Dumbo on one of those grabber things (on my first proper go!)!!
Later, once we were back at Granny Jean's I played with my toys and watched some TV, but I had a weird night where I woke up at about 2am and was sick in bed (eww). I wasn't up super-late once the bed was cleaned up and I haven't been ill since (touch wood) so maybe it was a random event or a fleeting bug, but I hope I'm over it now...
On Saturday afternoon, we went to the Happy Hippo in Ormskirk for a mini-party with: Mum & Dad, Granny Jean, Uncle Steven and cousins Stephanie & Katie and Uncle Mario and his girls, Emily, Ava and Maddison (Aunty Lisa wasn't feeling too good and Vicky had to work). I ran myself ragged and had such a fantastic time, and once 'the kids' had all eaten a little food we headed off to The Five Ways (also in Ormskirk) so the grown-ups could have some late lunch and yet again, us kids had a great time... so ahead of more ramblings from me, here's some photos!
