Animal Kwackers

Hello again everybody,

Today, we paid another visit to the Tropical Forest at Syon Park for the first time since May 2009.

We saw monkeys, LOADS of fish, a crocodile called Elvis (and one called Houdini), Mexican hissing cockroaches, chickens, parrots and in a special (twice daily) show, we got to see a few more animals up close and personal including a chinchilla, a rabbit, 4 baby tortoises, 3 lizards, a cayman (like a crocodile) and 2 snakes (including a python named Slash, rock fans).

Pictures below. Night night.

Xmas photo frenzy

Hi all,

Happy New Year!!

Very quick Saturday night update. We've all had a truly great Christmas, but our plans to spend the New Year in Lincolnshire once more, changed at the 11th hour and we ended up staying in Liverpool throughout.

Sincere apologies to the Lincolnshire massive, we probably wanted to be there more than you wanted us, but we'll be back soon, I promise...

The journey up to the 'pool was pretty good (for 23rd December) and we were surprised at quite how bad the show was once we got there. It was well worse than it had been in London, as some of our pics may show...

The journey home today was ace. Zero traffic on the roads and we made it back from L'pool to London in four and a quarter hours including an hour's stop for lunch. Go Mummy!

Todays pics may include the odd 'abstract' shot(s) which I took whilst learning how to use Daddy's camera.

More (maybe) soon.

Love,

Sam
