Spring forward, fall backward

Hey,

What a weekend we just had!

Apparently the clock's have gone forward, which means it's staying lighter in the evenings and springtime is here!

Mum and Dad didn't have any major plans so on Saturday, we went for a walk towards Ealing and stopped off at the park in Hanwell so I could have a go on the swings and slide etc... before heading into 'town' to visit the shops.

Theeeen when we got home, we went out to Elthorne Park for another go on the swings etc... so I could have a run around and kick my ball about a bit...

Even more exciting on Sunday we went to Snakes & Ladders again and I was going in the 5-7 yr-old section (with Mum & Dad of course!).

Pics below and here's a special treat for you:

No. 145

Hey everybody,

I know I've not written for a while, but to be honest, even though we've been pretty busy doing 'stuff', we've not been taking many pictures (I know, sack Dad!), or certainly not many good ones. And let's be honest, they're what you come here for, not my sparkling wit!

So, without further ado, here's a couple of photos from the last few days including a pic of a band called Cherry Ghost from last Thursday when Dad went to see them at the Union Chapel in Islington.

Newcastle thank you

Hey all,

Just spent a couple of days further north than we normally go - Up Toon (as Prince probably wouldn't say). We stayed in a hotel (a first!) for 2 nights and went out for a bite to eat on Friday, then shopping on Saturday before the big party on Saturday night where I was up dancing until after 9.30!!

This was all because Phil & Li got married yesterday and we were there to help celebrate - they had a lovely day and it was great to hang out with everyone - even if Daddy does feel very "tired" today...

Big shout out to Phil & Li (natch), Mr & Mrs Sherry (the olds), David Sherry, Jake, 'Artley (x2), Mike Withey, Chris Danson and the Newcastle massive.

Here's some snapshots of the weekend as was.

I think we all need an early night tonight...

Mr & Mrs Sherry try to work out how to cut the (Lord of the Rings) cake. Even the DJ looks confused. The bride carried a large, sharp knife. Can't be a good sign.

Me, looking cute as a bag of buttons. Shoes by Mummy.

Yes, actual dancing from the Bride AND Groom...

Alcohol is bad kids.

Bye for now,

Samantha
