So - we had a long weekend in Liverpool - Friday to Wednesday - a lovely time was had by one and all... Dad even had a birthday (relatively quiet considering), and we saw Granny Jean, Grandad Ozz, Uncle Mario and the Spatuzzi posse (ahead of their own holiday to Menorca just now, lucky things!), Uncle Steven, Aunty Lisa and their tribe and even a rare meet-up with Grandad Alan!
Here's the proof...
Tea at Granny Jean's
Resting after a little trampolining
Hand-writing practice whilst dining at the Punch Bowl (again!)
Beach-combing with Mum
Building sandcastles
What a beautiful photo. That is all.
Beach-combing solo
Investigating 'Another Place' (one of Anthony Gormley's sculptures)
Afternoon tea with Grandad Alan
More gravity defying
Windswept and lovely
More climbing frames
Nighty night...

Me again...
So... my hectic week, continued...
THURSDAY
Another day with Dad - this time starting with a trip to the sand park, followed by a walk down to the canal and an afternoon dossing at home and generally having a blast!
FRIDAY
And closing the week with a day with Mum...we went to B&Q to get a big awning to provide some shade in the garden, then we got my new paddling pool out and had a splish and a splash and a lovely time!!
SATURDAY
Included another of my regular trips to Elthorne Park and...
SUNDAY
...we went to Syon Park and Mum went to the garden centre whilst Dad and I went to Snakes & Ladders! It was like an OVEN...
Enjoy the photos... love

Feeling patriotic in the park
My favourite past-time
Up on the lock, about to enjoy a fruit winder
The band stand in Elthorne Park
Playing catch with Dad: boing!
and also, boing!!
Another slam dunk!
Just hanging 'round...
...defying gravity...
...in many different ways!
On the way to the big blue slide!
At the top
Chillin' in the shade...

Tuesday evening, here we are...
Wow, what an eventful few days (and I don't just mean the Olympics!)...
Saturday
Our good friend Tina came to visit whilst her car was being sorted out, 'round the corner... then me and Dad went to the Bunny Park to see the animals and go on the playground (until it rained!).
I'm not sure what I think of keeping animals in relatively enclosed spaces (and I've not been to a proper zoo yet), but I guess not everyone can afford to go and see certain animals in their natural habitat and as long as they are well treated and (as far as you can tell) happy, there is a definite element of preserving certain species for future generations, and that can only be a good thing yeah?
Later that day...we even had dinner out at The Royal where (for a chain) the food was great and the service fantastic. If you ever go there, and see Becky B mention me to her!
Sunday
Today we went to a nearby garden centre for Mum to have a look around whilst Dad and I played in the soft play area, which was a bit of a squeeze as it's only small, but we managed! Pics below, including me standing on the fan that blows a cool breeze up in the air!
Monday
I've got the whole week with Mum and Dad, because Julia and family are away on holiday, so it's Mum on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Dad is doing Tuesday and Thursday! This morning, Mum took me for a swim at the local baths and I had a great time with only my rubber ring and armbands (no float or float suit!)
Tuesday
Dad-day... this morning we got the bus to Brentford to go to the park by Somerfield where my favourite ride was sadly broken (please fix it soon!) but I still had a blast and we came home for lunch before heading out to Ealing Broadway for a quick shopping trip including the purchase of a new pair of shoes - my first Converse (& with laces!)
Monkey business
Fluffy chickens
Sheltering from the rain
At the garden centre
A touch of wind... pardon me!
My friend Noddy
At the park, Brentford, today
Round and round and roundabout
My new shoes
Current playlist:
Goldfrapp - Rocket
Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song
Faith No More - Spirit
The White Stripes - We're Going To Be Friends
Zingzillas - Boogie Woogie Bubbly Time
Bye for now...

Wednesday - a quick one...
Hi all,
Been busy, just don't have time (right now) to update in any detail, so forgive another photo based update. But it's worth mentioning, that we're in the midst of The London 2012 Olympics right now. I'll be honest and say it's not on my radar and Mum and Dad don't seem too interested either, but lots of people seem very excited / happy and jolly good for them!
So...
My new bubble machine!
Biggest. Bubble. Ever!
Concentrating on the road ahead in Elthorne Park at the weekend
Literally saying "cheese" just ahead of the downpour
Look at me sitting upfront!
Love, Samx
